How Lumecca will make my skin appear younger
The Lumecca treatment uses a universal applicator with a filter that modulates the wavelength of the light, allowing it to penetrate different layers of the skin to deliver its therapeutic effect. The pulsed beam targets color contrasts under the skin to dry out and eliminate small blood vessels and visible brown or red spots.

How does photorejuvenation work?
Photorejuvenation uses light pulses that heat the targeted tissues in depth. This heat activates the production of collagen and elastin and tightens the blood vessels that cause redness.
How many sessions are needed?
Generally, 3 to 6 sessions spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart are needed to obtain optimal results. Annual maintenance then helps maintain the results.
What is the difference between classic photorejuvenation and laser photorejuvenation?
Classic photorejuvenation uses pulsed light, while laser photorejuvenation uses a laser beam to heat the targeted tissues. The laser allows better control of penetration depth and energy delivered to treat skin lesions. It often offers faster and more effective results, especially on pigmentation spots and wrinkles. However, classic photorejuvenation works very well to reduce redness and blood vessel dilation. Who are the candidates?
